ok have heard all three:-

Nocturnus

well, i didn't like the keys being so understated - it could have been a great symphonic death metal record if it were more overt. otherwise, the "melodies" are great, the riffs distinctive and the solos are great

Malevolent Creation

i like the short sharp riffs and the vocals are the just the right balance of "cookie" and clean. but i still like Nocturnus over this....

Monstrosity

the cookie vocals are great but i feel this one's too generic by-the-numbers death

so:-

Malevolent Creation - 2
Nocturnus - 3
Monstrosity - 1

If you want to vote on this tight battle, do it within the next 24 hrs as there are a lot of pending battles building up.

@Il Duce did you check out any videos of Nocturnus? Singer Mike Browning is impressive whilst growling and drumming at the same time.

I should have said growling and drumming at the same time (edited the thread)

That`s a good Cream album but it gets less attention than the debut and their most famous release Disreali Gears

the studio songs are fairly atypical and even prog-ish

but let's not hijack this thread

Malevolent Creation is the winner here for me. It is a balanced album that touches on the right amount of every thing from groovy riffs, shred, blast beats, and harsh vocals with no element over powering the other. The keyboards found on The Key might have been innovative for the time but after a while, it felt like the songs were blurring into one another. And as for Monstrosity, it was just average to me. Nothing to write home about.
So...

Malevolent Creation - 3
Nocturnus - 2
Monstrosity - 1

Yep, you`re a bloody nuisance

We`ve had one draw before Motley Crue v WASP which was 5-5 so no problem.
