The gig itself is around £22 which is a fantastic price but a round trip of around 3 days with all that travel just after Christmas is something I can't really justify especially as Killing Joke are on my Radar in March in the U.K but a great chance to see the elusive Heathen and Destruction are missing off my Thrash list.

Sepultura are a major draw back though as it isn't really Sepultura at all is it?
I have to admit I'm pretty jealous of the fact that you can just pop over to Germany for the weekend.

All thanks to my main man over there and not me and that's part of the problem really. I REALLY REALLY hate to take advantage and like to pay my own way but he always offers so it's like what do I do? Accept and sponge off him or hurt his feelings and not attend. I do have a little pride left!

I was thinking more of how close it is to you. How long is that flight?

The flight is one hour! It takes around 9 hours with waiting time to get onto the plane and around 2 hours to get back to his place.

A concept that I still have trouble with. A 60 min flight that takes around 14 hours to fully complete in terms of logistics.

U are trying to make my mind up!

Alright, obviously who cares about a Sepultura without Max or Igor, but Exodus, Destruction, and HEATHEN?! That's just sick nasty to the max. I'm still ****ing pissed I missed a chance to see Exodus when they were here with Megadeth and Testament cause none of my friends were metal heads or they were working and I don't have a car.

Sepultura aren't really Sepultura these days, thats for sure. I've never bothered with the studio albums either, but I have seen them live and they were great. I saw them support Motorhead and wasn't expecting them to be as good as they were.

I agree entirely about Sepultura but I have seen Exodus 3 times, most recently in August and they are great live. Always get the best mosh pits going:

We were directly in front of the pit and you can see the back of my bald head at 0:39 onwards with my mate next to me in a green baseball cap! Not that it's all that clear really.

Seen Exodus, and Destruction w/ Heathen & Destroyer 666.

Seeing Warbringer, then Testament w/ Death Angel.

How does everyone like Voivod?

Voivod had their day. Piggy dying on them didn't help em much.

Dimension Hatross is one of my favorite albums. Just a shame I think they lost it starting with Negatron.

Oh God, that makes me want to smoke crack and worship Satan. I don't care what anyone says, Rob Dukes is awesome. He may not have Zetro's pipes, but I think his style has allowed Exodus to make as close a return to Baloff style Exodus as we're gonna get.
