What do you mean...that kind of music? It's good r&b influenced hard-rock. I will admit, I only like S/T and Free For All.

I was just too lazy to explain.

Sammy Hagar is the most obvious but if you want bands then there is the already mentioned ZZ Top, Foghat, Thin Lizzy, Nazareth and Montrose who all come to mind as they were all bands with a heavy blues angle in the mid 1970s.

In fact I'm listening to Montrose at the moment, always loved this band.

^ Montrose kicks ass, but I'd recommend the S/T, (another ****ing s/t) with Hagar. Another two that come to mind are Highway to Hell, and Toys in the Attic. AC/DC had a lot of great records, but HtH is their peak. Rocks would be a solid recommendation for Aerosmith, but Toys is looser and sleazier.

The Montrose debut is their best but their third Warner Brothers Presents and first with Bob James on vocals can match it.

Rocks and Toys in the Attic are two of the best hard rock albums from the 1970s full stop. Never a huge fan of AC/DC but Let There Be Rock, Powerage and Highway to Hell are all essential listens

My all time fav Manowar song. I could listen to this song all day. Just pure dumb biker metal, with a sing-along chorus to die for.

Other bands play!
MANOWAR KILL!!!

Hail and Kill, Bro. The first time I heard "Hearts of Steel" off of that album, it brought a tear to my eye. Can you believe that? Manowar had me sobbing.

It's all about the cymbal, man....

I understand. They may be dumb, but they can tug a heartstring. I've been a metalhead since high school, and they remind me of that time when I first really became passionate about metal. Same thing with Hammerfall. Oh, and by sheer coincidence...
