I can't find any youtube videos of this, so:

It differs from the previous Ancestors' releases in that the songs have unified, overarching themes, as opposed to the feeling of a bunch of compressed microsongs like on previous releases. Tempo changes and electronic manipulation also frequently occur. A wonderful release, highly recommended.

When I first heard this album, even though I liked the songs, I thought the production was a bit weak. Now I realize that this was rubbish. The production is certainly not as heavy as it could be, but this gives the music room to develop an atmosphere. The lyrics on this album are as nihilistic and twisted as a sad clown masturbating to child porn, and along with the complexity of the music, really give this a dark, dark, dark atmosphere that just wouldn't have been possible with a more...overpowering production. **** yeah Dark Angel!

This was one of my favorite releases last year, of any genre, and the trash/death/hardcore goodness still rips into me in 2013. Such a great record.

Death Angel. Still rippin' it in 2008.

After professing my indifference to Testament I decided to look back at their older stuff, and just got schooled. Now I'm sad that some douchebag stole my burned copy of The New Order back in military school. The newer stuff still bores me though.

I'm not the biggest Metalium fan, but this an absolutely fantastic power metal vocal performance.

I just found out that Matt Barlow left Iced Earth after the second Framing Armageddon album. I was crushed until I heard the new guy on their latest album. This might just be their best album since Something Wicked This Way Comes.

But Matt Barlow left several years ago!
