Everyone's favorite astrogrind band's 2014 album. Perfectly ****-inducing for anyone who likes to put on Abyssal and beat it to their tonality. But much faster.

NOÛS - ἀηδής

Evil sludgy doom. The EP is one 20 minute song.

ἀηδής | NOÛS (bandcamp)

Yikes, is that the Mary Jane Kelly murder scene on the cover?

Music seems pretty good.

Heh. Apparently that is the cover art. The music is certainly not everyday listening but I've always loved the slow/sludgy/heavy thing and I like how this pushes the boundaries a bit. It's almost experimental noise music.

I can tell that I'll be listening to a lot of Candlemass in the near future.

Definitely stick with that album and Nightfall if you like that particular sound.

Although I'm a big, big fan of their weird albums. Dactylis Glomerata is experimental as hell, basically a different band, but per that other thread you may dig it.

Yeah, I've already heard Nightfall, and I loved it. Also, even if the later albums are different, I'll check them out. Similarly, I'm planning to hear Metallica's Load just to see what the fuss is about.

Can't say I'm familiar, then again Metallica is one of those bands I just plain never could get into. Although they have beautiful instrumentals and some damn good covers.
