I swear, this song gets better every time I listen to it. Magical.

"In the begining of the medieval centuries
ten warriors of steel had been on
the path of glory to safe the ruined land
from an evil beast..."

As you can see, the lyrics are awfully cheesy (what's with power metal and steel, anyway?). But about everything else is just so... perfect.

So Onslaught gained a member and the guy that was the singer on Power From Hell moved to guitar, and the new member became the new singer. I have to say though, I like the guy that sang on Power From Hell way way better than this new guy.
I also enjoy the shorter songs from Power much better than the longer songs on the Force.

Amen dude.

Also... Horror Show is Iced Earth's best album, no doubt about it. If you see any copies of Plagues of Babylon, burn them, IMMEDIATELY. I liked the first song then hated the rest so much I ended up hating that one too.

Glorious Burden should be your next stop, two excellent vocalists working together and 'High Water Mark' especially is quite a treat for anyone with vague wishful thinking that the South had won America's civil war. Lots of those Halford-esque high notes.

Most definitely I doubt. It has great songs, but the concept is goofy and cheapens the atmosphere of the album. It is certainly their last classic album though. I'm just bummed they never went all out and rerecorded Night of the Stormrider with Matt Barlow. That would have been their best album hands down.

@batlord, go listen to it. Death metal rules. They were slow before Winter and Autopsy

That's pretty ****ing sweet. You should check out Necro Schizma. They were even slower at the same time.

I love listening to Mastodon! Their best album is Crack the Skye, but I also like their new album Once More 'Round The Sun. Anyone like them on this thread?
