Every time I listen to this album I become more and more convinced that this really was, hands down, the best NWOBHM album of all time, if you consider Iron Maiden NWOBHM only for their first two albums. Even then this album beats out a lot of their later material.

I'm sure my neighbors must hate me right now, but I just can't turn down this awesomeness. So ****ing heavy.

Edit: Is it just me or can this band throw down some surprisingly funky bass lines?

Maudlin of the Well, all the way! For you heavy-junkies, it does get metallier as it progresses.

Darn you Batty! I've been listening to so much Exhorder recently, and I just took a break, but now you've got me listening to them again.

This right here, reminds me of Dark Angel. There's SO many riffs in this song.

Quite possibly my fav song from Maiden's debut. A bit more like Saxon than they'd become known for, but this song is just so fun and catchy.

Not exactly sure why "A Lesson In Violence" is held up as the best song on their debut. "Bonded By Blood" is objectively superior, and is quite possibly the thrashiest song of all time. That sound of the dropping bomb exploding into that opening riff is thrash metal mana from heaven.

I'm listening to Mathcore/Metalcore At the moment.
Dillinger Escape Plan, The Chariot and Converge.
Very Chaotic music. I think I'm going to turn it off now, it was fun while it lasted but I can only take this in small dosis, it's just a bit too chaotic at times.
