Been going through some of the albums I'm not familiar with from my Metal Album Survivor thread, and I'm digging a lot of stuff that I normally would have ignored.

Love the Maiden vibe and energy on this song.

I'm learning that what metalcore became in the '00s condemned to obscurity a lot of really awesome ****ing bands from the nineties. Nineties metalcore might just be what I've been looking for from straight-up hardcore all these years. I'm sensing a thread coming on.

Just checked the thread, and the whole reason I was digging stuff like Arkangel, Deadguy, and Snapcase was cause they didn't have that Gothenburg influence. Sorry, dude. Not bad, but I'm not particularly impressed.
