^ I share a lot of your metal taste but I could never get into that early-00s metalcore sound made by skinny jeans kids with one arm tattooed. The Christian influence that a few of those bands have makes it all the more yucky to me.

Also like you I keep returning to the same albums over and over. Been listening to this Windir album as usual:

That album is from the late-nineties. And their jeans look pretty baggy to me...

The song is called Rapture that he failed to post correctly. Hurt is a band I listen to regularly simply due to the lyrics being a few cuts above other heavy driven bands. Don't look them up because you won't like them Batty. Not at all your thing.

Gave this album a couple listens last night, and holy fuck does it rip. It definitely feels like the kind of record you have to be in the mood for, but when you are, it sure as hell delivers.

I've listened to Where Blood and Fire Bring Rest about five bajillion times, and now I think it's time I did the same with their follow up. Good, good, good ****. Zao was definitely one of the best metalcore bands ever, and I hear they're possibly releasing a new album at some point in the near future.
