Elvenking only ever made one album of particular note, but god damn is it one of the best power metal albums ever recorded. Unoriginal as ****, but it's just such a perfect realization of the genre that it doesn't matter. Awesome riffs, great choruses, and an energy that most other PM bands don't seem to know exists.

Best groove metal song ever. Period. This album isn't going off the Wild Card battle, regardless of how much people might or might not bitch. Lamb of God might have had some good **** after this, but this album was brilliant and raw and ****ed up and totally brutal and everything after was diminishing returns, with the possible exception of New American Gospel. Nah, this album is better.

Coffins gets boring after a while, but the first riff on "Cadaver Blood" is one of my favorite riffs ever. If I was going to listen to Coffins, I'd just throw on Dopethrone instead. "Under the Stench" is sublime extreme doom metal though.

That Acid Bath song is my favorite of theirs.
