Indeed. I hope they come back. Sure they could come out with greatness again.

In one of those "I don't know what I feel like listening to so I'll just binge my way through Iron Maiden's whole discography" moods.

Looking for death metal, I come across From Marw to Sirius, and the title "The Heaviest Matter in the Universe" reminds me of Nibbler's poo.

Check out L'Enfant Sauvage as well, a great record.

Ulcerate - Vermis
Cryptopsy - None So Vile
Death - Symbolic
Portal - Vexovoid
Gorguts - Obscura
Mitochondrion - Parasignosis

No idea on how you'll feel about the lyrical content because I rarely pay attention to that with screaming vocals.

It amazes me just how hilariously melodramatic Machine Head can be. They're basically a new age thrash band, and yet here they're treating their music like it's ****ing Wagner. Not that it's not a fun song, but Jesus Christ, you just know these guys have some mega egos.

I thought the exact same thing when I listened to it again for the Survivor thread. The Blackening used to be one of my favourite metal albums four or five years ago, and even though I still enjoyed it this time around, there's definitely something about the way they handle their music that I find somewhat offputting.
