I mean, Atmosphere is cool for a few songs, but after that... it's just more Atmosphere.

idk, i dig the whole angry self-loathing gimmick. not a lot of rappers are able to get on the mic and make an interesting song about how much of a loser they are, but on that album Slug does it quite well.

I would say I think their albums are too long, but I still like most of the songs that come up

i mean, i guess you could say that. i think there's enough diversity in terms of production and lyrical content that it allows that album in particular to never overstay its welcome. i also really dig the way Slug manages to weave in and out of a narrative throughout of it by bringing up the same concepts and characters on different tracks.
