*hug*

No Obituary, Dismember, Bolt Thrower, Deicide, Lykathea Aflame, Suffocation, Cryptopsy, Gorguts, Nile, Asphyx, and why the **** is there only one Death album? You don't have to be a fanboy to see that they probably only included Human cause they couldn't justify ignoring it. I'm pretty sure that list was created by people who've listened to like five death metal albums.

Almost no non-Sabbath doom either. I saw Jerusalem, but I don't even think they had any Electric Wizard. No Candlemass, Reverend Bizarre, diSEMBOWELMENT, Trouble, Skepticism, Katatonia, My Dying Bride, or Cathedral? WTF? NO ACID BATH!!!

And what the **** are Body Count, Evanescence, and Avenged Sevenfold doing on that list? I'm almost surprised they didn't throw in Limp Bizkit cause the kids like that, right? It also kind of offends me that Korn is one place higher than Seasons in the Abyss tbh. Oh yeah, is Living Color even metal? It's been a million years since I listened to them but I don't ever remember thinking they were a metal band.

Some odd album choices too. Morbid Tales over pretty much any other classic Celtic Frost album? Blues for the Red Sun over Welcome to Sky Valley? Kvelertak's second album? This list gets ****tier the more I think about it.

It's a good "intro to metal" kind of list. Their biggest offense really was not putting Dream Theater's Images & Words at #1. :D

If I was gonna push an ethereal wave / female fronted gothic pop metal thing on an otherwise very by-the-numbers list, I'd have replaced Evanescence with Comalies by Lacuna Coil in a heartbeat. Much better album.

I'm also really surprised about the lack of Suffocation, Cryptopsy and Gorguts. But that aside, where the fuck are Crimson Glory and Helloween? There barely any power metal at all, much less the USPM stuff I adore.

Gross.

Agreed. Gothy, female-fronted pop metal doesn't really get any better than Comalies, for whatever that's worth. I dig it though.

Definitely a lack of PM. Blind Guardian, Helloween, Hammerfall, Jag Panzer, Iced Earth, Stratovarius, and Virgin Steele are pretty glaring omissions.

This song is perfect. Hard to believe Pantera wrote it.
