Kinda touche, but those vocals are anything but generic.
Pretty close to throat singing, which I love.
Hated them at first though.

Seriously though I just happened to be relistening to this album today but I just gotta say... Solstice were never brilliant but they still slayed like mother****ers. But to me the important part is that they are the pure spirit of metal. In a nutshell.

**** me this song goes hard.

It may not be heavy in the way that Electric Wizard is heavy, but its brutality is just so intense that it is one of the heaviest metal songs ever. Basically the quintessential Cryptopsy track. Except for a bunch more. AND IT GOES HARD FROM THE VERY FIRST SECOND LIKE THE GOD OF METAL PUNCHED YOU IN THE ****ING FACE!!!

And every time I hear this song I hate the band like salt on a dick wound, but this song always rules me despite myself. I guess I'm about to listen to actual Dream Theater in a moment, please pray for me. I'm actually bored enough to listen to Dream Theater. Cause the world doesn't have enough sorrow.
