Love this band. Heavy as an anvil, but evil as sin at the same time.

****ing love Unearthly Trance! Truly ugly and misanthropic.

Yes. These guys do Canada proud and obviously kicked off Canadian “war metal”.
As good as Axis of Advance, Revenge, Conqueror etc. are this still hasn’t been matched.

These guys would change a lot after their debut but “An Evil Shade of Grey” was a solid slab of dark, gloomy Swedish death metal. I really wish they had stuck with this sound.

No idea why the video won't show, but I'm listening to Cemetary's "Scars".

Hey man, you embed youtube thus:

click the share button on the youtube, which'll give you a url like: C.S.S.O. - 01 - Cosmic Super Strong Ordure - YouTube

Edit that down to: M6cbqIxFPgk

...and let some [youtube*] [/youtube*] pull a train on the video, minus "*"

So:

Clotted Symmetric Sexual Organ (C.S.S.O.), playing their sort of psychedelic grindcore. Somehow this doesn't sound to forced or contrived.... but that's probably because the riffs are epic.

I have listened to some, more punk lately though.

Especially:

Man, more I listen to NoMeansNo, the more I love them. This song is a perfect example of their strange and off kilter madness. This song is just so.... vile. But it holds your attention in such a way that you can't help but admire how depraved it is.

Just that something about it. The way the vocals work with the song, combined with the subject matter. Deliver is flawless.

So disturbing, yet so perfect.

This song as well. Just perfect in every way.

Same thing applies. Morbid subject matter combined with the bass work of Rob Wright.

NoMeansNo are the one band I seem to find most of the punk people I know say they do not get. Think they are just to advanced for the people who just like hyperspeed hardcore. Think they are amazing personally, and just go against the grain in a way that has never really been rivaled.

two favorite live performances as well:

Something has broken inside of me and now I can't bring myself to listen to anything that isn't Unearthly Trance. Sludgy doom that sounds more like To Mega Therion-era Celtic Frost than anything from New Orleans.

Thanks for the help hip hop bunny hop.
Usually I just copy and paste the whole youtube address and add [youtube*] at the beginning and [/youtube*] at the end and it works out fine..
But I’ll try shortening it down here...

Just got done listening to Jesus and Mary Chain’s “Psychocandy” and now it’s time for some more metal.

Cold and mechanical technical death metal. This album shouldn't be growing on me, but it is.
