Metallica was the band that first got me into metal, and Megadeth was the second. For a while after I became disenchanted with Metallica, Megadeth became my goto band. I still love their first four albums more than a fat kid loves cake. And I'm a fat kid who loves cake, so I know what I'm talking about.

Do I ever love this album. For awhile I was convinced that Light of Day, Day of Darkness (2002) was their best album, but I'm really starting to see Journey to the End of the Night (2000) for the masterpiece that it is.

For those who would like an evil, filthy mixture of Motorhead, Veom and Hellhammer influence..

"Grave Cross" are a Mexican heavy metal band. The beginning of this track is weak, but the song is so damn catchy....

My favorite song off one of my desert island albums. Can't wait for the new album.

Usually not the biggest fan of melodic death metal, but At the Gates is just amazing. It's a shame the vocalist never killed himself, because the self hate and misanthropy he spews would have been the perfect suicide note.
