One of the Japanese thrash bands that I never checked out until now. Great stuff as always, I cannot understand how this scene went so forgotten.

Now I'm doing the hardest work of my Top 50 thrash list by figuring out just how many Overkill albums need to be represented. Man I don't even know. Slayer, Megadeth, Exodus, Metallica, and Overkill are liable to make the bottom twenty look like charity.

Seriously though Exodus kill everyone in the modern day by a wide margin. Even if they're as inconsistent as they've always been they destroy everyone with what matters and make everyone look like they're not quite sure how thrash even works let alone how to do it currently.

Imma call some **** out tbh. Overkill are good in the new millenium, but mother****ing "Ironbound" can't **** with "Scar Spangled Banner" or "Funeral Hymn". Just can't. Those songs put "Ironbound" on a shelf.

Big US-Power Metal sounding gem by this German group in 1993. Nice blend of Warlord, Accept and the 'Ryche.

I always found Ironbound to be sort of sterile sounding. I get this feeling of tedium after just a couple songs. All albums after Ironbound are even worse on that account.

Some of the late 90's/early 00's output, I'm ok with. I've listened to the Killbox 13 album lots of times. So many catchy songs on that one!

Good song but one of the worst on the album.
