Runemagick are ****ing sick and have a perfect mix of old school death metal and doom with top notch production that deserves more love.

I'm honestly not a huge Integrity fan but that album transcends my imaginary feud between Integrity and Ringworm (my true love).

I was going to post this in the punk thread but the band identified this album as metal on bandcamp.

From Norway. Actually a Frown top 2016 pick that I just got around to. The guitar is avant math rock sort of Gorgutsy and the vocals seem influenced by both MES and Ian Curtis. That’s why it seems to me this is closer to post-punk than metal but hey it’s not my music. A solid release even if I’m not quite as enthusiastic as Frown.
