Another of the great underrated 90s thrash albums.

Never heard of them before, the song didn't do anything for me but it's only one song and one listen.

Try this. It's a little less Iron Maiden meets ...And Justice for All, and more Jag Panzer meets Master of Puppets.

I liked the idea of using a variety of styles in different periods of the song. Slow, jazzy, pipes, acoustic guitar to classical violins, symphonic metal, then heavy metal, but I don't think they pulled it off. Despite all of that it was still a bore, and the vocals plus typical symphonic metal lyrics killed it. Disappointing.

I certainly wasn't expecting that. Funny a long time ago I thought about naming a band Chrysalis. Nice, colourful and caught my attention. Though what the hell was that picture of Shakira doing in the video clip?

I really can't think of a thrash metal band that plays as extreme an incarnation of thrash as this band without using any death metal influences. Good thing too, cause the sheer energy of these mother****ers would probably suffer if they did. Exodus worship that surpasses the original and goes for the throat with a rusty knife.

Glad you liked it and I am puzzled by the vid but they are an unknown band so to get a decent vid is a stretch.

There is a band called Chrysalis from France who play a sort of Industrial Metal hybrid more akin to Godflesh than say Ministry with a dash of Black Metal. Decent.

Love Vio- Lence's debut but if you are looking for that type of sound give me Nuclear Assault all day long.
