80's metallica kicks ass but now they suck because they went mainstream. But they're comming out with a new album which is going to be like their 80's music

I would consider metallica to be mainstream, old and definitely new. More people are gonna know about/heard of metallica than they would hear about, um, say, Venom (this is just a random pick, stay with me).
