For one thing, Cedric and Zach aren't over 40, Lets see if their recording then, cause as it stands Zach hasn't done **** (good ****) since '99.

Secondly, Metallica didn't protest Napster for themselves, Napster royally ****ed any small band that was trying to make a living and you know it. Now I won't sit here and say that there was no good side to Napster, because it gave some bands exposure. But there were alot of people who would just burn entire albums, and not give a rats ass about whether the band got anything.

And if you pick out random examples of them screwing up well we can make anyone look bad. And I can listen to great music no matter what, I don't care what the people who made it do.

Why can't your plane go down? Both bands are the pinnacle of what music is, and just cause it doesn't fit your preteen defnition of what music is (fast angry and loud) doesn't mean their crap. Even noticed that the "bad" music they make is better than 90% of the "great" music other bands make?

First off. Metallica in its whole didn't sue napster...Lars Ulrich made the decision. Which brings me to my next point of why Lars Ulrich sucks. HE ****ED DAVE MUSTAINE OVER. That's just no good...But other than Lars being a complete ****, Metallica isn't bad music. So stop saying they're a ****ty band for this reason and that reason. You didn't attack them musically once and I find that pathetic.

Secondly, although U2 isn't my style and Bono just gets on my nerves, I would definately choose to sit through an album of U2 rather than an album by Linkin Park or...SLIPKNOT.

Thirdly, You start a band with a few people and still be in that band with them 25 years later and see if you don't get on each others nerves alot. It's not easy being that successful of a band.

Anyways, regardless of their lives and situations, you sat there and said all you care about is how it sounds...So if thats the case then shut the **** up and stop bashing Metallica for being real human beings, and start trying to criticize their MUSIC...you know, the whole reason they became famous? yeah. that. Douchebag.

moving away from comeback arguments, im not the biggest metallica, never have never will. however as somebody has already stated, its was primarily lars doing so to blame the whole band on this napster situation is arsenine. and theres a distinct difference between U2 and metallica. i respect metallica and like a few of their songs. i harbour hardly any respect for U2 and hard pushed- like 1 song.

It actually put's them in a bad light in my opinion, because it's basically 2 hours of Lars and James arguing like 13 year olds, while being watched over by a psychiatrist. It also shows a lot of they're fans smashing their Metallica cd's on the ground because of the whole Napster thing...

I dont hate Metallica, but if I did, it would be because of their music. Not some stupid argument involving the members the band that I cant even be arsed to read, because I dont care about it.

I don't know why You'd bother. You come out wishing bands you don't like would die in a plane crash, then you want to come off as more intellectual. Im not Urban Hatemonger, but if I was I'd go back and dig up every assanine post you've ever made and point out how half the bands listed probably wrote their lyrics with crayon.

God, I feel like I am in a Day Care and I'm holding a cookie... I LOVED Metallica, back in the day, Master of Puppets... That was about it, after that, I thought they destroyed themselves. Just my opinion..

ok, as for your badass music....RatM is fading in everyone's memory....i dont have a bleepin clue as to who ATDI is ....and in my opinion, the only system of a down that i thought was great was their first self-titled album; oh yeah, have you heard their new song? (BYOB) it makes me laugh everytime i hear it! as for your little put downs.... not much to say, only that people can act really brave whenever they are hiding behind a computer...

RATM is NOT fading in everyones memory...and yeah systems first album is definately the best one, BYOB isnt that great....meh.

secondly, iron maiden is am amazing band. So up yours with a double edged sword.

boy i seriously dont like modern rock these days but U2 has kept rock alive thru 80's n mettalica has given songs like unforgiven and though their comeback wasn't good enuf but mettalica can never be called an alternative band.......u don't like music u like noise .....go bye a 50 cent Cd n u will get explicit LYRICS
