Default Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats

Thought I would start a thread on this band, searched and didn't find one. My brother has been raving about this group ever since their newest album came out, and I must say, f'in incredible. Discuss.

Ranked high on my top albums list for 2011 despite not catching it until November/December. I was just listening to them last night, matter of fact. They're still a solid listen. Highly recommended.

Just listening to them now.

Very solid stuff but not too original. Decent enough though.

Original? No, certainly not. I don't think they were going for originality at all. I think they were trying to emulate classic doom metal/hard rock, and I think they succeeded wonderfully. One of my top 10 from last year for sure.
