[MERIT] 05-11-2005 11:29 AM

breaking benjamin is tha $hit

adidasss 05-11-2005 11:44 AM

i love creed ( never heard of breaking benjamins)...although there are some crap songs on every album ( in america for example) they have some of the best rock balads ever ( with arms wide open, strings version, is one of my favourite songs ever, and still sends shivers down my spine when i hear it )...on the last album the definite stand out track for me is " who's got my back "...briliant track...

IMATOOL 05-11-2005 12:21 PM

Breaking Benjamins ia pretty good, so was Creed but i don't like Ultabrige or however its spelled.

to each his own...although, i don't understand why you would hate a band that does nothing for you...if their music pissed you off, like maroon 5 piss me off, i could understand, but like this...

EDGE 05-11-2005 03:06 PM

I actually like that new song from breaking benjamin.
I won't lie.

[MERIT] 05-12-2005 07:15 AM

^right on. you should buy their 1st cd. it is really good too.

High King Tigernmas 05-12-2005 07:19 AM

I laugh at both, but especially Creed, its girly Christian music!

DreamTheaterGodly 05-12-2005 08:50 AM

Christian music is breaking barriers, there are some hardcore Christian stuff. But Creed was a bunch of posers, they sang about Religious issues, yet in an interview with Scott Stapp, he made the comment that he is not part of a Christian band, they just sing from the heart? I Think thats bullcrap. Anyway, I don't like Creed, and Breaking Benjamin is getting on my nerves as of late. Granted, I love Ben's vocals, top notch.

[MERIT] 05-12-2005 11:09 AM

they do overplay BB's new stuff. i like their stuff off Saturate alot more.

TheBig3 05-12-2005 11:37 AM

Creed is trash. Its alterbridge, and they are Creed - lead singer deuce bag. There not bad, the singer is better than stap by damn near infinite times.

[MERIT] 05-12-2005 11:38 AM

pretty similar sound though

High King Tigernmas 05-12-2005 03:21 PM

Not girls, but Christianity, and men who act like girls...

I don't pretend to be tough, I'm voicing my opinion.

I don't like Creed, in fact I'm very biased.
I'm on the side of grunge and very rarely do I listen to post-grunge because it ticks me off that people would try to make grunge radio-friendly for corporate music. (personal opinion)
I like a couple of Breaking Benjamin's songs though, I heard they were splitting up but I guess I was wrong because they have a new song on the radio.

well your "opinion" is obviously from a guy who listens to black metal ( and nothing else )and thinks he's super tuff....but in fact you're a very disturbed young man who was probably abused as a child, and now you're expressing your anger by listening to the "most badass music on the planet" and dressing so u'd scare everyone away, but in fact, you're the one who's scared and just need someone to love you...well my missguided irish friend ...i love you, and everything will be allright....

well i'm pissed off by people calling it post grunge...what the hell is post anything, it's just a name critics use to define a certain type of music they can't really name....it's just ROCK MUSIC!!!and i like grunge and it totaly pisses me off that people compare creed to pearl jam, when they couldn't be more different ( his voice isn't that similar to eddie's )!!!!

Urban Hat€monger ? 05-12-2005 04:14 PM

Grunge?

How about piss poor middle of the road stadium rock that grunge was supposed to have killed off.

Nirvana changed music? , thats a joke

Trauma 05-12-2005 04:41 PM

^
Sad but true.
And Adidas you may not understand my logic but it's my personal opinion.

Thats funny...here I am, dressed in a white t-shirt (scary ****!). I wasn't abused as a child, and you should be careful when you make accusations like that. Also, I don't only listen to Black metal, I listen to: Black metal, Power metal, Techno, Dance, Folk, Rock, Pop and House music...And never, ever say you love me again...

.angie. 05-13-2005 11:51 PM

yes, indeed. creed is crap.

FistfulOfSky 05-14-2005 06:30 PM

Creed!!!!!!!!!!

Creed rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i love the songs Lullaby, Beautiful, Don't Stop Dancing, Bullets, and Wash Away those Years. and of course i like the usual, One Last Breath, Higher and Sacrifice and Arms Wide Open.
i like lots more too. its horrible that they split and formed Alterbridge. i hate that band. a cheep version of Creed.
i heard that Creed was getting back together, they announced it somewhere, maybe their in studio. i hope so. i really love Creed. you would really get along w/ my friend jess. shes probably one of the biggest Creed fans i know. she cries when she heard they split up. i didn't blame her.

as for Breaking Benjamin. i don't like them that much. but their not that bad. i like those songs Firefly and Sooner or Later. they rock.

glad to meet a fellow Creed fan, its been awhile...
peace,

I heard one song, I think it was by Breaking Benjamin...it was like "you're so cold keep your hand in mine" or something like that...I thought it was an alright song...Nothing special, but it didn't make me want to puke, so I guess that's always a plus.

Wyldchild 05-16-2005 12:06 AM

Creed Are S H I T!

ish 05-28-2005 09:16 AM

Yeah I agree with most people here Creed is $H!T...but I reckon Breaking Benjamin rocks, Great band. I found them while I was looking for music randomly one day and I'm like Oooh a band I haven't heard of and I checked them out and I've loved them since.
