Default Black Metal by Normal People?

Don't get me wrong, I am not against the dead face makeup, satanic, misanthropic black metallers, but I was wondering if there was some normal people who play black metal?

Liturgy is vaguely normal, though I don't listen to them.

I don't understand the point of this thread. Are you looking for bands that have the sound of "typical" black metal without the rest of the aesthetics, or are you just using this a platform to issue forth a rather weak critique of the genre?

Are you sure that's not Animal Collective?

No, the Krallice (I think that's a Krallice logo) t-shirt gives them away.

Dude, hipsters can wear black metal shirts now. It could still totally be Animal Collective.

Seems kind of like you're trying to find a white buffalo, I mean black metal is a very niche genre for a very niche audience. I think the best luck you're going to have is the, for lack of a better term, "blackgaze" stuff currently coming out of France. It's essentially as it sounds, shoegazey riffs combined with the atmospheric elements of black metal and the occasional vocal shrieks commonly associated with the genre. Alcest, Lantlos, Les Discrets... and that's about it.

the point of this thread was not to find any "normal" people black metal, it was just to see if some regular guys play black metal, i am not criticizing the genre, bunny hop
