How is "album rock" different from "AOR rock?" AOR rock if you spelled it out would be "Album-Oriented Rock rock." Classic Rock is a radio format (like Howard D mentioned) it was developed from the AOR radio format. How is AOR a sub-genre of Classic Rock?

Properly my bad. I have always been a little confused what is labeled album rock, stadion rock and AOR. So a good bet is that is me who use them wrong. Just that I do listen to bands in that family of rock.

Hehe, yes. It's not my words....its what many punk bands themselves have said and what many commentators have repeated. The T-Shirts with "I hate Pink Floyd" pretty much says it all.
