I'm listening to Esoteric's "The Pernicious Enigma" right now and although its not really the type of (double) album that can be taken on a song by song basis, the oppressive atmosphere lends itself to a very "intense" listening experience.

I still cannot believe the intensity of a song that's that technical. I don't know how they did that. It's so intense that I hardly ever play it because only thinking about it is usually anough to give me shivers. |
