The most INTENSE song ever?

What is the most intense song ever??

I think the locust band recently pointed out is pretty insane. SOAD have some pretty hardout stuff too.

Fire away people whats your opinion :band:

Trauma 05-16-2005 08:15 PM

Carmina Burana is the most intense song ever.
Either that or Lilith by Bolcolm played by Don Sinta at U of M.

I swear, for something to be intense it has to be REAL talent, like crazy god-given talent. Not something that won't be remembered.

Gaara 05-17-2005 01:30 AM

I find anything by Yngwie Malmsteen intense.

High King Tigernmas 05-17-2005 02:33 AM

Whats hard to sit through for sheer intensity?

'A Blaze In The Northern Sky', its pretty hard when you're just getting into the music...

Merkaba 05-17-2005 02:59 AM

Yeah im thinking of a song that for the duration of it it just blasts you with insane energy. And then it comes to an end and your just left feeling like your ears have bin beaten to a pulp by that song.

pastor of muppets 05-17-2005 04:17 AM

i dunno many intense songs cos im not that into that kinda music but killling in the name of is pretty smashin.....

adidasss 05-17-2005 04:28 AM

street fighting man..because of the ending, if you listen to it really loud...( but i dont really listen to "intense" music, by intense meaning mostly metal right?)...RATM has some intense songs, oh and i forgott, At the drive in - arcarsenal...

Merkaba 05-17-2005 04:41 AM

I cant say i like intense music eather, I just wondered what people had heard out there...theres gotta be a lot of death metal that would just scare the crap out of most people

High King Tigernmas 05-17-2005 05:25 AM

If you're talking death metal Morbid Angel, or Deicide are very intense...

TheBig3 05-17-2005 07:39 AM

Me and a Gun by Tori Amos

riseagainstrocks 05-17-2005 08:56 AM

Open Face Surgery - Cryptosy

Tommyrocker 05-17-2005 12:32 PM

megadeth - holy wars....the punishment due

SaTaNsChIlD666 05-17-2005 01:48 PM

most intense song? ...hmm... there are many, and for many different reasons.

Pig Destroyer - "Preacher Crawling"

hookers with machineguns 05-17-2005 05:54 PM

Tragedy "Beginning of the End"

SATCHMO 05-17-2005 05:55 PM

Trey Anastasio's Surrender to the Air

GenerationLost 05-17-2005 07:31 PM

probably any RATM songs and SOAD songs are all pretty intense. The new SOAD song, BYOB is great.

MobilizeTerror 05-17-2005 08:37 PM

I think I'm gonna have to say Mmmbop by Hanson. That song is ****in' insane!

lilbloodredridinghood 05-17-2005 10:12 PM

I think a really intense song would be "needled 24/7" it's not the hardest, but it pummels you with millions of different thoughts and feelings all at once and it really drags you into the music and makes you feel like you know what alexi is feeling while he's singing it, in addition to everyone else's playing...the emotions are just so intense its almost unbearable. It makes me really sad, really angry, and really ready to smash anything and everything...That's just me though:)

whoa.. that song makes me think i'll die in two seconds, world war three will start in a few hours, AIDS will spread through air and stuff like that. it's a great song... but it scares the sh*t outta me..

Merkaba 05-18-2005 01:06 AM

wow lilblood ^Thats a powerful song! Is it unbearable in the sense you cant listen to it anymore or you just feel like you have to do something....like smash something lol

chronic-x 05-18-2005 05:17 AM

I think a very intense song is "antihero" by God Forbid. It has kick ass riffs and the vocals are done great for death metal.

TheBig3 05-18-2005 08:11 AM

Tori Amos is still more intence without any screaming or instruments. Your death metal shlock can try all it wants, but that song about her rape is out of control.

WHAT???about her rape??

TheBig3 05-18-2005 10:46 AM

yeah, she was raped and that song is about that night. Its the singularly most haunting song I've ever heard.

lilbloodredridinghood 05-18-2005 12:48 PM

Aww that's sad...I'm really sorry to hear that.

Merkaba 05-18-2005 11:51 PM

Ya Tori did that song with no music or anything. It is amazing and sad at the same time.

Wyldchild 05-19-2005 03:18 AM

The most intence song?? mmmmmmmmm
Probably I'm a full death metal dude but I think the most intence ever song would have to be (DADDY) by KoRn.
The whole child molested topic is hell powerful.

But in second spot probably be Impaled Nazerine song
(IMPURE ORGIES), listen to it, it hell ****ed up.lol

Wyldchild 05-19-2005 03:24 AM

Tori Amos is an amazing musician....thats all that has to be said...

Starsha420 05-19-2005 05:07 AM

Slipknot, Spit it out. Or SOAD, Ariels. Don't believe me, see them live.

i totally agree with u generationlost about s.o.a.d :D i think all their songs are awsome

riseagainstrocks 05-19-2005 01:39 PM

the topic isn't which bands have "awesome" songs or what bands are "extreme"

its which song in your opinion is the most "intense"

both thebig3 and itchy have excellent choices.

Urban Hat€monger ? 05-19-2005 01:52 PM

Slipknot? SOAD ? Morbid Angel?

Those bands are about as intense as a rice pudding.

Just because a band plays fast or screams things such as "GGGRRRRRRRRFUUUUUUUCCCCKKKKKKAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH " over a riff played at 200mph in every song, that means nothing.

Your average Ian Curtis or PJ Harvey song (I nominate Crawl Home for this BTW) has more intesity in the first line than a hundred Slipknot albums ever will.

'Tis true

riseagainstrocks 05-19-2005 02:03 PM

^ can't say i have, although i will check them out.

High King Tigernmas 05-19-2005 02:11 PM

If by 'intense' you mean an amazing song that leaves you stunned, then I say,
'Dunkelheit'
'Funeral Fog'
'A Blaze In The Northern Sky'

MobilizeTerror 05-20-2005 02:20 PM

Okay, I think Don't Drag Me Down by Social Distortion is pretty intense. Especially near the end of the song..

riseagainstrocks 05-21-2005 08:01 PM

"ignorance like a gun in hand, reach out to the promised land. your history books are full of lies, media blizt gonna blind your eyes."

i love song.

Merkaba 05-21-2005 09:12 PM

^who sings that rise?

Kentucky Woman 05-22-2005 02:57 PM
