It can't be said enough. The Red Hot Chili Peppers NEED to call it a day.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let Flea move on and FINALLY record and release the solo album he's been musing about for a good decade now!

I completely agree. It was impressive enough that they made such a comeback with Californication and kept it up with By the Way. Why they decided on a double album with Stadium Arcadium is beyond me... I haven't even bothered with their latest. From what I hear I'm not missing much.

Flea has proven himself in so many situations. He is so versatile that I really have no clue what a solo album from him would sound like. I have a feeling it would be awesome. I bet Anthony Kiedis is holding him back. I blame him.

Depeche Mode, I guess

Sounds of the Universe is atrocious

edit:- Pet Shop Boys also, they haven't put out anything good since Release

Napalm Death. I enjoy a good amount of their albums, but new ones are starting to get redundant.

As much as I hate to say it, Monster Magnet. I love Monster Magnet, but their line-up is currently short several original members and their sound has evolved into some crappy hard rock memory of what used to be.

I still dug Monolithic Baby!, but the last album of theirs I listened to was 4-Way Diablo (granted, they've just had the one since) and it wasn't good. It was just depressing.

Lemmyhead needs to stop, it's just getting old.

Monster Magnet's new albums don't really hold my attention much. And Time Waits For No Slave is pretty solid, the best of this century imo. By them I mean.

now you're contradicting yourself - at first you said they're getting redundant

now you say their latest is great

I didn't say it was fantastic. A lot of their new albums are good, but they all sound very similar. Older albums always sounded a little different.
