These guys are pretty old school, a German industrial band from the 90's. Throw a bit of Techno in there as well. I couldn't find a thread about them! Your thoughts?

I used listen to them a lot back in the day. Good stuff. They're really good live as well.

Vanilla,

I thought you might like this song, it's writen by Lee Hazlewood and was a #1 hit in the 60's for Nacy Sinatra. Geri Halliwell, Jewel, and Jessica Simpson also did a version plus another two dozen other bands and artist. KMFDM probably did one of the best version of the song - hands down. Their name, KMFDM, disacronymized into German is Kein Mehrheit Für Die Mitleid which could possibly mean No Pity for the Majority.

Oh wow that's awesome! I love the snarly undertone. I'm obsessed with their song Anarchy and Free Your Hate.

I likes me a little KMFDM (I hear that there was a rumor back in the day that their name stood for Kill Mother Fucking Depeche Mode). This song had my soul for a minute.

I love "Anarchy" as well. Another great one by them, which is in a completely different style from 99% of all their music, is this:

wow....i have to admit i have always assumed there was a KMFDM thread here

like Janszoon said...they were one of my favorite bands in the 90s....i owned several shirts and posters with the amazing BRUTE artwork....and really enjoyed them up till En Esch left the group in 98 or 99.....them they changed their name for one album to MDFMK....that album was alright but in my opinion lost something....the album Money still gets regular play from me

specifically the title track and my personal favorite by them More And Faster

i've always loved their anarchist-capitalist view towards the world and music industry

"i sell drugs to the kids, cause thats what pays"

classic

think i may just go listen to this album now

edit

crap i meant to mention them also Lee

also look into Sascha's side project Excessive Force

very groovy nihilistic dance music
