Great work, MyName :D

A bit too obvious for a troll, but a fun read for a joke.

Rjinn 01-24-2013 06:45 PM

Um... I can't believe you spent all that brain work on lyrics that have almost no brain work.

Just sayin'.

Black Francis I listen to Deftones more than Limp Bizkit these days but I still ****ing hate Back to School, along with the video and yeah, I've heard it before already. That's rap rock done wrong. They tried to be Limp Bizkit and do one song like that to promote their album but they failed in every way possible. They're just not good at mixing rap with rock and Chino doesn't have the voice for rap. It was even listenable the first minute, but that moaning and stuff isn't fit for rap rock. If you want to see the good version of the song, try Pink Maggit, that's what they're good at. And BTW it is 3 Dolla Bill, not 2

What do you mean Limp Bizkit just rode that wave? Are you trying to say that they made music just for the money cause they saw that kind of music is popular at the moment? I don't think so. I think they saw the new wave of music, liked it and wanted to be a part of it and not in it JUST for the money. They still made Unquestionable Truth pt1 and Gold Cobra in 2006/2011 even though rap rock was actually an underground genre at that time so it doesn't make sense if you say they do it only for the money.

You think he isn't a genius lyricist? He is far more than that, he is a PROPHET. Everything happened exactly like in my interpretation of Nookie. He got thrown away by the music industry when rap rock stopped being popular and then he learned his lesson and stayed true to himself.

Ok maybe I went a bit too far here, there are only indications he is a prophet but he definitely is a genius lyricist as I've just proven. I always knew there is a deeper message in their music and I've finally revealed it and I finally know what Fred Durst really intended the song to be.

Limp Bizkit - Rollin interpretation coming soon

CONTINUED NOOKIE INTERPRETATION

"Why did it take so long? Why did I wait so long, huh To figure it out? but I did it" - He regrets it took him so long to figure it all out and he is constantly pestered by countless questions but ultimately he is glad he succeeded.

"And I'm the only one underneath the sun who didn't get it I cant believe that I can be deceived By my so called girl" - He feels lonely and disappointed to the point he thinks he is the only one in the world who doesn't know how things work and he still has trouble believing music industry betrayed him and thrown him away.

"but in reality Had hidden agenda She put my tender heart in a blender And still I surrendered Hey, like a chump" - Hidden agenda means that music industry secretly planned to throw him away anyway, without any sort of compassion or sympathy even though his gentle heart got hurt :(.

"I'm only human Its so easy for your friends to give you their advice They tell you to let it go But its easier said then done" - Now music industry wants him again and doesn't want to let go of him

"I appreciate it I do, but just leave me alone Leave me alone Just leave me alone!! Just leave me alone!" - He is being ironic when he says how he appreciates that music industry wants to take him back, but he doesn't even consider and just wants to be left alone to do his own music the way he wants to and stay true.

"Ain't nothin' gonna change you can go away Im just gonna stay here and always be the same" - I'm not sure is he saying nothing gonna change or something gonna change since there are 2 negations, but I'm guessing something gonna change. He is saying music industry can go away and he doesn't need it because he is just gonna stay true to himself and won't sellout again.

Beautiful. Rollin' is even deeper and I was literally in a trance while listening to it, planning to interpret it too.
TL;DR

Boy you are REALLY committing to the joke aren't ya?

Fred durst is not a genius lyricist he's just a tool, i mean he just reeked of "plz make me famous" desperate for the spotlight..

which is why they covered George Michael in the first place
in fact, i could sum you up what woulda been Limp biskit at it's finest in "Back to school" by the Deftones..

That ONE song by the Deftones is what Limp biskit whole career shoulda been..

the worst part is when '2 dolla bill' was released i was a fan of limp biskit, during that time That type of Hardcore music was very popular, i remember Korn at one point was considered the most popular band ever..
Limp biskit just rode that Hardcore wave and when it was over so were they..

that's interesting, what planet were you living on at that time?

P A N 01-25-2013 12:19 PM

at one point i thought there were a few universal understandings.

then, i opened this thread.
