romanticising the notion he's a good lyricist but you can do that with any mediocre artist.. or with anything really

i know taste is subjective, but did you hear Fred sing that Who cover?

'Behind blue eyes' or something like that, it was just horrible!

i admit, his rapping delivery is cool but when he actually tries to sing he sounds awful..

I love that John Lennon video! I always get an odd look when I say that I think he might have been the 2nd coming, and that vid just shows how Christly the man was. Though I am an unbeliever...who knew!

Black Francis - Actually, I listen to Deftones/LB depending on my mood. But if I had to choose I actually prefer Deftones a bit more. Its just that Back to School is a bad song and that style of music is not fit for them. I'm a very realistic person and I don't just mindlessly defend everything a band I like does. F.e. some things that bother me about LB.

Almost whole RMV album is bad and its B-sides make me vomit. I also hate Durst's rapping/screaming voice in some songs, f.e. rapping in "Hot Dog" and screaming in "Get a life". Sounds too high pitched and annoying.

But then again I like his rapping in songs like "Combat Jazz" and "Bring it Back" and screaming in "Eat you alive"

I actually like Durst's singing and I think their version of the song is better than The Who's. I think The Who's version is simply outdated and that their singer's accent is very unpleasant. That's not to say Limp Bizkit never did bad covers, I literally laughed my ass off when they did a cover of Opiate(originally by Tool). He made OPIATE sound cheerful like an intro song of some children show.

Limp Bizkit - Rollin interpretation coming today. Its a very profound and meaningful song and it'll be a joy to reveal its message.

"Where the **** you at punk shut the **** up and back the **** up while we **** this track up" - Now he is speaking to the haters and asking them what did they do in their lives to judge him? What gives them the right to judge him if he succeeded as a musician and has a huge fan base while all they do is cry and whine. So he tells them to shut the **** up and get lost.

"Throw your hands up" - Now we can notice gradation, first it was hands up now hands now it is THROW your hands up, which is a much more dynamic move than simply putting your hand up.

He is always consistent, always delivering and always able to make his fans happy and bouncing in the moshpits.

"Hey ladies, hey fellas, and the people who don't give a ****! All the lovers, all the haters, and all the people who call themselves players! Hot mammas, pimp daddies and the people rollin in the caddies! Hey rockers, hip-hopers, and everybody all around the world!" - He is calling out people from different groups which indicates that he is open minded and loves everybody. Sparky - I don't have much of an opinion about it. I'm just waiting to see the first album and then I'll judge them, but for now I try to have faith. I just hope that rest of the album won't be like City of Angels/Lightz. Its a catchy pop song and its simply not fit for Limp Bizkit. Its not bad, its just that I don't want Limp Bizkit to waste their potential on that. If I wanted to listen a catchy pop song I'd listen to 100s of others generic artists, but nothing can replace LB's heavy, funky, goofy "don't give a ****" style.

Honestly, I don't like Lil Wayne and I think he sounds like a granny but, hey, the guy succeeded in the music world which means he is good at the type of music he does. So if you think that bitching about it over internet will bother him in his big house with loads of women and money, go ahead.

Similar situation with KoRn. I can listen to 100 other dubstep artists if I want dubstep, but I can't replace KoRn. KoRnstep is just bad IMO but I'm glad that at least it got good critics and some old fans can listen to it and enjoy it.
