When you say gunned, do you mean by the bad men in your country or just being attacked for your musical tastes?

The reason why DT are disliked is, that they're too polished for some people when it comes to metal and in many ways they're more like an heavy metal version of an AOR band.

Nobody is going to take your opinion seriously when you claim that Slipknot are the best and Dream Theater are boring and slow.

I think I actually prefer Slipknot to DT no joke. I can't stand the wankfest that is DT. To each their own.

I really like their first albums the most, particularly When Dream and Day Unite, Images and words and Awake. These albums have originality that subsequent albums doesnt even get close to.

I feel like this forum just traveled into a parallel universe or something. Either that, or I need to get my brain checked.

Images and Words is my favorite of all their earlier albums. It's got Learning to Live which is my all time favorite DT song.

No seriously, I find Dream Theater almost artificial sounding like robots.
