For the decade.

God willing, it won't happen and Spotify won't add any more of their music.

Every day Spotify adds enough tracks to fill a medium-sized record collection (about 10000), as they sign deals with new labels and new deals with old labels. The reason Pink Floyd might be added is that EMI owns their music, and they have already signed a deal with Spotify.

EDIT: The song reached 350K streams yesterday, and the tweet from 14th of July said 100K streams. That's rocket speed, man!

I don't use Spotify to hear music that I should have in my collection TBH. I use Spotify to hear new music and I add my fave albums through local files if I need them to listen to.

I really don't think adding Pink Floyd on Spotify is a big thing. For me the whole purpose of Spotify is to expand my listening pleasure and let me delve even more into what is out there without downloading anything and cluttering up my HD.

Oh and Hip Hop. We get it. U don't like Pink Floyd. That's fine, is it really worth making a post about a band that virtually everyone knows whether they like them or not?

Spotify's most played arrive at me with the most abominable crap imaginable but I don't really care as it is a popular music site and it is no doubt sponsored by many labels now but it still has introduced me to so much new music that it is not worth posting about the music I don't like that it promotes.

Spotify is one of the best things to arrive on the net since YT music vids ten years ago.

That's great! Too bad I can't get into Spotify.

I guess I just can't get into it, when I can use itunes instead.

Using spotify to listen to music is useless unless you pay the 4:99 a month for unlimited listening. I use spotify as a database for my music because I don't want to buy 100% of my music.
