Lemmy's old school, I think he'll tour till he drops.
I would be very surprised if he hasn't already been offered things like a TV reality show or something like that. He lives in L.A, he's recognisable. He could easily make a good living just randomly appearing on TV and touring less much like Ozzy & Alice Cooper have.

I think the only reason why this hasn't happened already is because Lemmy hasn't wanted to.

I hope the old dude is doing okay. His music helped get me into metal, and by extension, almost all of the "harsh" music I listen to today. I would be crushed if he passed.

There's at least MusicCares to help long-time professional musicians pay some bills.

My impression of Lemmy is that he's a functioning alcoholic who only talks when he feels like it. So he's not motivated by money and wouldn't make a good TV show host or star. If he cut back on touring, he might just spend more of that free time drinking.

I really want him to keep rocking forever. Motorhead was as simple as mind-blowing. Supreme music and great lyrics: "I've got rock and roll; it saves me from the cold. If that's all there is, then it ain't so bad." Blimey, that line really touches the core of me and blows me away!
