Amazing band that lasted years and years. So I decided this thread should be given a bump.

I dont think the OP posts here anymore so I'm not sure what boxset they were referring to but I have the Stone Deaf Forever boxset and its nothing short of sexual. Some friends chipped in and bought me it for my birthday a few years ago. Someone said it already, but Motorhead have to be the loudest band around. If theres a louder band then I would like to go and see them. Motorhead are the only band to ever temporarily damage my hearing. Trying to use a mobile after the gig to see where your friends are? No way, it doesnt work.

Motorhead was my one and only circle pit too! And I didnt even want to be in the bastard. It hurt.

I saw Motorhead in 1990 and was a little dissapointed re: their decibel rate but they are such a great band and I'm so glad I have seen them. Ministry hurt my ears when I saw them in October-they were brilliant.

I'd like to see Ministry. There has certainly not been any disappointment the times I've seen them when it comes to noise levels. It started loud and as Lemmy does he turned it up song by song. I had ringing in my ears and was actually asking people to repeat themselves quite often for 2-3 days afterwards.

That was Ministry's farewell tour I'm afraid so I was well pleased to get tickets! My friend seen them 3 times on the tour lucky bugger.
