I'm currently of the opinion that Ride the Lightning is the greatest metal album I've heard out of the 2600 I've gotten under my belt. The songwriting is amazing, the youth in James' voice adds a lot, and that slightly lo-fi production style is just ACIDIC, leaving a beautiful taste in your ears and mouth. That balance between fuzz and reverb is s.p.o.t. ON.

I'm a long time Metallica fan, So much I can't hardly listen to any of it much anymore. just wore them out.

all great albums mentioned here. As much as us fans hated Load when it came out, that album really aged like wine. possibly their best.
