The three people chosen each had Angel Dust on their list, how about that.

I think it's too late to suggest albums, right? But I have an album I really would like you to check out at some point, TH. Whetjer it be for metal month, or anything.
Der freiwillige Bettler by Urfaust. This is an atmospheric black metal album...with clean vocals. I know you don't like the harsh vocals, but this album has all the black metal awesomeness and riffing (even a bit of experimentation here and there), but completely devoid of harsh vocals. Rather the album features operatic/deep chanting style vocals. Okay, not completely devoid, but the screams utilized here are much different than black metal shrieks. Just a suggestion. I saw you liked the Sigh album, and I think you may like this one. |
Oh, apparently someone already recommended their first album, that one is more classic, but also much more raw and black metally. The one I mentioned is a lot cleaner, less dark ambient leanings, and more doom metal influence...well, carry on then,

Oh, and no, it's not too late to suggest albums, though I can't guarantee I will get to them. |
New update: Anything in purple has been listened to, reviewed and posted. Further recs are ok but I can't guarantee I'll get to them. Send them in if you want though, I will try.

Can you write up Bergtatt: Et eeventyr i 5 capitler by Ulver? I've already thrown it at you, but not in this thread. It's like that Myrkur album, but better.
|
I'll pop it in, but as I say with Viking Metal, Irish metal and a triple boxset still to go, to say nothing of the Black Sabbath faceoff and a whole lot more, I'm sort of sinkin' in the metal swamp. I'll try, is all I can promise.

Stop using my thread to get your postcount up so you can post your stupid links.
Nobody likes you. That was directed at a spammer, who is now gone, not Briks, in case anyone wonders... I do sometimes talk to myself, but this is not one of those times. And there's always my invisible friend to take into account... |
