Trollheart, what a coincidence! October 2014 will be my second Powerstars ripoff month, which means I'll have to do Trollheart ripoff month!

A feature I'd like to run in Metal Month II is "What Metal Means to Me", where (if anyone is interested) members can write a short, or long, note about just that subject, to be included in the journal during that month. You can use examples, bands, events, memories, anything you like and anyone is welcome to make their submission to me.

As this would be not actually "aired" until October I would prefer if anyone wants to take up this opportunity to send your thoughts via PM to me. It would be interesting to see the different takes on how important Metal is to people, why they like it, how they got into it and so on.

Or you could just not bother. But I think it could be fun...

Me too, and I really hope our favourite Batlord coughs up something as well.

Just a quick note to remind you that Metal Month II commences in twenty-nine days. It's gonna be more structured this time around, but I'm still happy to take requests, although of course I can't guarantee every one will be featured. If you want me to review an album and it's not easily available --- YouTube/Spotify/Grooveshark --- please provide a link. Your choice, if used, will be featured in "By Special Request" during Metal Month II and you will be credited.

Also, anyone who wishes to try for "What Metal means to me", if anyone, can you please get scribbling in the next week or two so I can prepare your entries for my journal?

Thanks and here's to hopefully pushing sales of earplugs up during October!!!

Just curious, TH, will you be doing any other themed months? 'Cause I can't see myself participating in Metal Month much (if at all), but I would go crazy for something like "Psych Month" or "Folk Month".
No pressure, though man. We don't want you burned out again.
