Bon Jovi is goofy and cheesy in a fun way. They're not very good, but still enjoyable in the same way as Manowar's "Blow Your Speakers". Limp Bizkit is just bad and even a little bit embarrassing.

Oh, come on now. It is widely agreed that Wes Borland is the only real talent that Limp Bizkit has. This opinion is shared among both the Rock community, Metal community. Those that can set aside their dislike for Limp Bizkit, which is really just a dislike toward Fred Durst. People could openly discuss that the problem with Limp Bizkit has always been Fred Durst. The potential that band has always had, has never been realized because the man they have fronting the group has such a limited ability to do anything note worthy. I mean, the guy writes like an uneducated ten year old most of the time...there's been better thought out garbage from One Direction's song writer than some of what Fred Durst has pinned.

Imagina what Limp Bizkit could achieve if say, Mike Patton fronted the group. Odd vocal to pair with a band like Limp Bizkit. But I think the result would be some great music. Wes Borland as a guitarist is capable of so much more than what he's doing in Limp Bizkit. But with the right singer, I think Wes Borland could really show all of the people that piss on his name that they're opinions of him that are based around his association with Fred Durst, are bull****. He's a great guitar player.

From my experience, I think that some people have under-estimated Fred Durst's lyrics. Fred Durst is not a lyrical genius, but some of his lyrics DO have some quality...

Quote:
Let me guess, you ain't that impressed
Mister, hale - tosis of the breath
Livin' lifestyles of the wish-you-would
From the back isles of the thrifty-good
See i, i got room to talk, kid
I been layin' this track since north cackilack
And the very first day that you fell out the sack
I was in some fat laces, spinnin' on my back
Let me think, let me roll, let me ride
Let me put some funk in the trunk, triple 5
And a memory that can ease your pain
Like a melody from Kurt Cobain
'cause ya', never know when it's all gonna end
And ya', never know when you'll call on a friend
So you better take a step to prepare yourself
'cause the way you're livin' now, ain't good for your health
That verse was actually good!

If that's a good Fred Durst verse I don't want to see a bad one.

Ive always preferred the deftones over Limp bizkit, Chino doesn't rap in every song but when he does he puts Fred to shame..

that's just my opinion though.

I wouldn't call what Chino does in the younger years of Deftones, rapping. It's not far from it though. Overall. Chino Moreno is far, no, EXTREMELY more versatile and talented than Fred Durst. Fred couldn't even hold a candle to the man.

I agree, i always compare the deftones with Linkin park too cause in Linkin park one raps (badly) and the other one sings the chorus, Chino can do both of those things and better!

Cause it's like you said he is just more versatile as a frontman.

Chester Bennington is not too bad of a frontman either. He has some range and a rather good voice. At least in my opinion. Mike Shinoda, I've always thought he was decent as far as his rap went. He's not anything special but still better than some that have done what he does in other 'heavy' groups.

Chino Moreno is a top ten vocalist for me. I think he's pretty awesome.
