My list is going to be hated so bad but I'm honestly going to try to do this. Be warned, I have particular metal tastes. I don't really listen to a lot thrash or 80's metal in general. You're going to notice a lack of Metallica and Slayer here. Here goes nothing...

10. Leviathan - Scar Sighted
8. Dysrhythmia - Test of Submission
9. Giant Squid - Ichthyologist
7. Kayo Dot - Hubardo
6. Deafheaven - Sunbather
5. Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath
4. Opeth - Deliverance
3. Maudlin of the Well - Bath
2. Mastodon - Blood Mountain
1. Kayo Dot - Choirs of the Eye

Damn straight. You know they share members and that Gorguts kicks way more ass right?

Solid list though, I'd buy it a drink.

If anyone wants to expand the theme - top ten jazz/punk/disco albums, whatever - feel free. If that happens, Exo or Frown please change the title,TVM.
