Alright.
Sorry, but I'm gonna take a break from all these wimpy ass riffs.

Melvins - Revolve @ 0:19

vs

Hangnail - Summer Rain

Gotta go with the Melvins here. Love the heavy, percussive element to their riff over the bluesier swagger of Haingnail.

Melvins - 1
Haingnail - 0

I prefer the Hangnails. Like the throaty sound in the riff. Nice.

Melvins - 1
Hangnail - 1

Wow, tough one.

****, might be the first balanced competition this thread has seen so far.

I love that opening Hangnail riff, but there's a consistent beauty in King Buzzo's simplicity, he makes every note count all of the time, that's the great thing about The Melvins' formula.

I vote Revolve.

Melvins - 3
Hangnail - 1

Never much cared for the Melvins & I like the bluesy Sabbath riffs of the other band so...

Don't be sorry.

Melvins - 3
Hangnail - 3

Hangnail held my interest longer.

There's nobody else in the queue after Mondo Bungle in the OP. Unless I missed somebody a couple of pages back calling a spot, I'll gladly go again after Melvins vs. Hangnail.

Has Pet_sounds had a chance yet? I think we skipped him due to his bereavement. Anyway, step back from the mike Epoch: if nobody else wants to go then I'm up again...
