Any era of Underoath is good.

I'll help you out a bit:

Act Of Depression & Cries Of The Past---> Harsh metallic sound
The Changing Of Times---> A mix between old and new Underoath... more accessible, but still harsh
They're Only Changing Safety---> Spencer's first album with Underoath, really poppy.
Define The Great Line---> Their masterpiece, way darker and heavier than TOCS, but still in the new Underoath style.
Lost In The Sound Of Separation---> Kind of like Define The Great Line, but a little more random and less focused. Decent album.

Aight I just got their ****...first one is kinda too deathcore for me haha...Changing of Times sounds nice so far..

But you left out Cries of the Past, and it sounds AMAZING!

And I Dreamt Of You is sick so far...it's like deathcore fused with 80's...!

Yeah, Underoath did kind of have a Deathcore vibe, but they came way before deathcore as we know it, and sound nothing like deathcore bands today.

Have you listened to DTGL? It really is an excellent album.

I think define the great line is more poppy than theyre only chasing safety. I think they have only gotten worse from the changing of times on. I recently picked up survive kaliedascope, a live album, and it was awful. Not to mention I like to know the members of the band I like and Underoath seems to constantly ruin that.

I've heard a couple tracks from their live album and I thought they were great.

Default Underoath on Tour with ABR/Emery

I have my ticket to see them December 4th at the Orbit Room in Grand rapids. They are definitley my all time favorite Christian hardcore band and im eager to see them for the first time.

Ive just got one question - how good are they live? Someone with experience please.

Ive watched videos and all that, but thats not the same at all.

Help?
