There are no metal threads.

There is one Metal Album Survivor thread, in which everything takes place. Dude, we'll just do it here. It's easier for the voters to find the vote, and it's easier for me to keep track of them.

SUGGEST ME AN ALBUM - I'm probably not going to listen to it but I will if you bother me enough.

7. A Silver Mt. Zion - He Has Left Us Alone but Shafts of Light Sometimes Grace the Corner of Our Rooms...
6. Explosions in the Sky - The Earth Is Not a Cold Dead Place
4. Mogwai - Happy Songs for Happy People
1. Sigur Rós - Ágætis byrjun

Happy Songs is one of Mogwai's worst albums IMO. If you'd kept Young Team I'd probably have voted against something else instead. Honestly I'll be happy as long as Explosions in the Sky loses though.

5. Talk Talk - Spirit of Eden
4. Sigur Rós - Ágætis byrjun
3. Slint - Spiderland
2. Mogwai - Happy Songs for Happy People
1. Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven

Vote 4 off. Vote ends February 19.

To explain, I just think Sigur Ros is too bland. Beyond a couple songs, the songwriting just isn't engaging at all.

Tortoise
Sigur Ros
Bark Psychosis
Explosions in the Sky

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

I found a replacement for Survivor's Vital Signs on 70's Arena ROck (since it's also on AOR)... In the heat of the Night by Pat Benatar.
Also, who's up for switching Boston's Third Stage with Don't Look Back?
