Personally from your too many journals, the one that you should be spending your time on is the history of progressive rock one, as that really is truly educational and one of the best ever journals on MB.
I actually had so much fun writing about pirate metal, and it was interesting the different ways bands approached it. I have to say, I loved it.

As for "I know what I like", yes, I really need to get back to it. That's the problem when you have ... quick count, carry the two .... seventeen thousand, four hundred and ninety-one journals. No wait, that's not right, is it?

January 1, a time to make resolutions and decisions.
And the decision I've made is that Metal Month will not be coming back. I've done enough work on it over the three years it ran, and though it's been moderately successful this poll alone proves that it's fallen far short of what I had hoped it would be. The amount of work that I have to put into it, to the detriment of my other journals and the rest of my work here, is simply no longer worth it as far as I can see. When you begin to dread something, or put it off, it's time to re-evaluate.

Hope you all enjoyed it when it ran, but I'm calling time on it now to concentrate on my other journals, and the threads I have here that take up so much of my time, but that I'm getting great enjoyment out of and seem to be more widely popular than Metal Month ever was.

So raise a glass to Metal Month: it was good while it lasted, but now I'm moving on. Thanks to those who took an interest in it from 2013-2015. New horizons beckon!
