Be glad, for nobody has voted for that boring album that pretends to try too hard. As all know, the best Slayer album that isn't Reign in Blood is Hell Awaits. THeir most evil and raw album. It's just a shame that Haunting the Chapel was only a three-song EP or it might possibly have been the clear winner.

Hell Awaits is ok but wouldn't go that far. They were still trying to figure out what they wanted to sound like back then, and they were worshipping Venom a little too hard.
