**** YOU TRISTAN. THE FRONT BOTTOMS RULE.

I just saw that post now but it doesn't stop me from being outraged.

I'll leave the front bottoms on then.

I might decide to cut out Darkwave for the same reason I cut Minimal Wave, because it is too far under the umbrella of electronic music.

UPDATE: Dead Can Dance is not rock at all, Cocteau Twins is electronic with some post-punk elements... I'm just not hearing enough "rock" in this. After Rock Album Survivor is over (which, admittedly, will probably be long after we're all dead), I think people might be interested in an Electronic Album Survivor as well.

Electronic!? How is Dead Can Dance electronic!?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but every instrument is on synths except for some vocals. No guitar, no 4/4 beat, no blues riff, etc. It's just not rock at all.

I might trade it out for Dropkick Murphy's then. Dropkick Murphy's aren't that great.

I agree.

Alright, there seems to be a great amount of people yearning for a mass culling of these lists (many of which JGuy was responsible for). However, as often as possible, I would like to consolidate the lists that are being culled with other lists, especially if there are one or two albums on a certain list which could and should fit in on another just fine.

I'm going to have trouble doing this all by myself, so I'm allowing others to put up suggestions. Here are the general criteria for what can be removed:

1. Extremely specific genres.
2. Duplicate genres, genres that are essentially the same thing.
3. Lists with many albums that could just be left out entirely, due to a lack of notoriety.
4. Genres that one of our forum users made up in their heads.

Note: If a list was created purely to accommodate one or two albums, and 3. applies, but the lists that those albums would otherwise be on are already full to the brim, the list will probably stay.

I think you're up to the task of doing this all by yourself.

Do it by yourself or no balls.
