i like most of those bands, but my final pick would be a split decision between guns and roses and van halen.

They were NOT hair bands, a band cant be a hair band just because of their hair, but also the way they sound....

Bon Jovi was clearly a hair band...
Same with Def Leppard (After High N' Dry)....

Guns N' Roses is hard rock, not hair band....same with Van Halen.

all the bands on the list are also hard rock bands, who happend to have big poofy hair, from 80s/90s, i think GnR and VH fit in that category. there were alot of better bands with long hair that i didnt put on the list because they werent hair bands..just about any metal band from that era had long hair but arent considerd hair bands.
