I would consider Korn more of a Rock Band so that would fit the answer of the original question the best. Nirvana was considered more Grunge Rock and I like even though all these bands I listened to there music after the fact since I was born in 1999 was the Cranberries. I would think the Cranberries got clumped into the Alternative Rock Genre back then. I absolutely love Dolores O' Riordan's voice.

Nirvana don't qualify as rock cause they're grunge rock?

I'm just saying some people would say that.

Probably not the best idea to appropriate people's wrong ideas just because they're supposedly popular ones.

No, they are rock. They are Grunge Rock. Not saying they are people I know just people in general.

I will not make generalizations anymore.

I have coworkers who might figuratively say it.

I disagree, I guarantee you there are people who break music genres down so far that they would just have them in a Grunge Category with the like of Pearl Jam, Stone Tempe Pilots, and Blind Melon and not in the same category as Korn, System Of The Down, and the others.

I am not one of those people there is basically rock and pop and then the eras they played in.

So we're just going to take your word for it or do you have examples?

WTF? Do you want me to take a poll or ask the people to join here so they they express it themselves?

I already expressed the way I felt about it and if you think that no one in the world thinks they are not rock and just in a smaller genre of Grunge than you are not thinking straight.
