Anybody else have trouble listening to Halford at first? Halford's voice was so incredibly challenging when I first started listening to Priest. Priest has always had everything I wanted in a rock/metal song (I mean seriously, they have more riffs I like than even Metallica), but Halford's operatic vocal delivery was not one of those things. "Diamonds And Rust" literally made me cringe every time I listened to it (more like tried to listen to it). I think I started to grow used to Halford's voice after I listened to copious amounts of Slayer with Tom Araya's equally-as-intense vocals (and of course, copious amounts of black metal too lulz). Anyway, I'm now almost completely used to Halford now, but it took like 5 months for me to get used to him.

On an unrelated note, "March of the Damned" is a fantastic song.

The first band I got heavily into was Queen, and my first metal band was Iron Maiden, so Halford's operatic vocals were never a problem for me.

What can I say about the almighty Judas Priest that hasn't already been said? Their influence is UNDENIABLE in hard rock history! In short order: a Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction is LONG OVERDUE. The new album 'Redeemer Of Souls' rocks, especially 'Halls Of Valhalla'. I look forward to the show in November! Wouldn't miss it for the world ( ) !
