Kinda blows although I thought they went to crap in the 80s anyway as most bands did! (They were BEST in the 70s (Thier first 4 records are insanely good))

They were a popular rock band in the 1970s but they were revived due to Run DMC.

I listened to Rocks the other day when I was going through R. It was just all right for me, dawg. It got cut from rotation.

I liked them in the 70's. Started to lose interest after the 5th album. Still have the first four on vinyl but don't listen to them much these days. I prefer their debut album over the rest.

I don't know if I'll ever be able to get over how overplayed "Walk This Way" is to give Toys in the Attic an unbiased listen, but other than that they kicked serious ass in the seventies. Should have never sobered up.

Agreed. Going sober ruined them. Although they'd probably all be dead if they hadn't. First saw them at an amusement park in the very early 70s before Dream On exploded. They freaking rocked! Saw them again from the 5-6th row at Boston Garden around 1979 and they were all so messed up they only did about a 45 minute show. Tyler didn't even make it out for the encore. Got to hear Perry sing for about 3 minutes and the show was over.

Rick Derringer and his band opened and they blew them off the stage so bad it was pathetic.

One of my top 5 fave Aerosmith songs.

Funny story. Years ago, I wanted an Aerosmith compilation for my birthday. At a Walmart, there were two different ones: one for their seventies hits, one for their 80's hits. I bought the 70's one (one of there first comps), and a couple days later, the 80's one came in the mail because Mom had ordered it from eBay before we went to the Wal-Mart. Mom didn't even tell me which one to take. Either way, I ended up with both which was cool.
